All parents and guardians of students registered at Greendale Elementary Community School shall be voting members of the PAC.
Administration and staff of GECS shall be non-voting members of the PAC
ALL are WELCOME at our monthly PAC meetings.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Council is to support, encourage and improve the quality of the education and the well-being of the students in Greendale Elementary Community School. This includes:
- To advise the principal and staff on parent' views on any matter relating to the school programs, policies, plans and activities
- To communicate with parents and to promote cooperation between the home and school in providing for the education of children.
- To assist parents in accessing the system and to provide advocacy support for individual children and their parents.
- To organize PAC activities and events
- To contribute to the effectiveness of the school by promoting the involvement of parents and other community members.
